Students

As a church we are passionate about seeing every student develop their relationship with Jesus and have the opportunity to serve the city of Nottingham, and feel a part of the wider church family.
If you want to get involved, there are a number of ways in which we would encourage you to do so. If you’re new to Trent Vineyard then you’ll be able to find out more about who we are, upcoming events and small groups on our Facebook page.
As a student you are faced with a unique opportunity to reach your peers by living your life with them. You can ‘be Jesus’ to people in your hall, lectures and campuses. As a student team we are here to support, encourage and challenge you as you live out your calling as a student in Nottingham. Feel free to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you anytime!
Student Small Groups
At Trent Vineyard, we are committed to being more than simply a large group of people who gather together on a Sunday. Small groups are at the heart of the church. Small groups provide the perfect smaller setting to meet with friends and feel a part of the family at Trent Vineyard. Each group is a unique mix of people who help each other grow relationally and spiritually.
Our small groups vary and you are encouraged to find one where you feel you can belong. We have Student Small Groups on University Park Campus, in Lenton, and in the City Centre. All the details can be found at the student desk after the Sunday evening service, or alternatively drop one of the student team an email. There are a number of Student Small Groups spread around the city in the Lenton, Nottingham Uni campus and City Centre areas.

Events
'Chase' is a place for all of the students in the church to come together twice a term for worship, teaching and ministry. We believe that spending lots of time hanging out and having fun is a great way to build genuine relationships with each other. This is why we love the Youth Centre as a venue as we can use the café and sports facilities. (March 14th and 2nd May, 8pm)
The Weekend Away is always the highlight of the student year! It’s an extended opportunity to give God space to move among us, challenge us and equip us - as well as have a right laugh and meet other students (Fri 4th Feb – Sun 6th Feb 2011).
Fancy meeting some new people and having a good meal? Why not sign up at the student desk to be linked up with some people in the church who will invite you to their home, cook for you and help you find your feet in the church.
There are plenty of other things for you to get involved with and bring your friends to. Here’s just a few to look out for; The Student Ball will be in May and Beer & Carols has become an annual favorite at the Malt Cross in December.
