Married in 1983, God prompted John & Debby to start Trent Vineyard in 1996.

Tom Murphy
Senior Associate Pastor
Tom leads a team of Pastors and Ministry Staff who are responsible for Small Groups, Marriages, Youth, Students, Overseas links, Facilities, and our work with Partner Charities. Tom’s passionate about seeing God’s Kingdom extended. He loves to spend time with his daughters and his grandson, and ski’s whenever he can.
Helen Murphy
Associate Pastor
Helen oversees Pastoral Care, Girls Room (our women's ministry), and heads up our Compassion Ministries. She set up and leads The Arches Project. She is married to Tom and they have 4 daughters. As well as being foster carers, they have a cute dog called Eddie and she has recently taken up kickboxing.
Nigel Briggs
Worship & Creative Director
Responsible for Worship, Media and Creative Events, Nigel is also part of Trent Band and spends some of his time working with Vineyard Records. Nigel is married to Helen and has 3 sons. As well as song writing he’s passionate about mountain biking.
Nick Gretton
Business Director
Nick oversees Finance, HR, IT and Compliance, as well as Trent Vineyard Conferencing. He loves coffee and football and he and his wife Cathy have 2 sons and 2 daughters.
John Simmons
Pastor
John is responsible for co-ordinating Sunday Evening Services, Small Groups, Marriage Courses, and the Discipleship Year. John and his wife Anna have 3 wonderful children.

Susie Aldridge
Susie leads in Vineyard Kids and Trent Youth looking after large teams that love to share Jesus with children and young people.
Jude Bagguley
Jude’s team welcomes newcomers to the church. She also oversees The Alpha Course, Evangelism and Discipleship activities.
John Bodily
John is our Youth Pastor, leading Trent Youth with Susie. He’s also been involved in a number of our building expansion projects.
Nicola Bryce
Nicola leads Vineyard Kids with Susie looking after the huge team that organise kids events on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.
Hannah Buck
Hannah leads our work in Prisons and the Soup Run which offers help to the homeless people in the City. She is also one of the leaders in The Arches Project.
Sarah Dunlop
Sarah leads teams that welcome newcomers to the Church. She also leads on the Alpha Course, Healing on the Streets and other outreach activities.
Jo Gresty
Jo is responsible for Pastoral Support, Cedar House and oversees the Admin Team.
Paul Lowe
Paul is our Student Pastor, helping students to get involved. He also has oversight of Men’s Events and Afterhours events on Sunday evenings.
Dave Miller
Dave leads Worship both on a Sunday and during the week at a variety of events. He is also responsible for Prayer and our Bookstall.
Business, Finance & Facilities
Paul Bevan
Paul and his team look after Finance and IT.
Dominic Cavan
Dominic leads the Trent Vineyard Conferencing team and oversees our Cafe development.
Jo Harley
Jo looks after the wider Admin team that support much of the work of the church.
Paul Illsley
Paul and his team take care of The Warehouse, Trent Youth Centre and all of our facilities.
