John is the Senior Pastor of Trent Vineyard.

Susie Aldridge

Senior Associate Pastor

Susie supports John in leading the church, as well as various staff teams, such as Trent Kids, Trent Youth and Trent Vineyard Students, among others. She also leads the Dreaming The Impossible youth movement with Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland.

Tom Bird

Director of Operations

Tom leads our HR, Trading, Facilities and Business Operations teams.

Paul Bevan

Business Director

Paul oversees a wide variety of operations, including finance, safeguarding and compliance.

Sam McDermid

Senior Manager and Researcher

Sam oversees a number of areas including Leaders’ Meetings, internal comms, and strategic planning. She also works as a Research Assistant.

Dave Miller

Senior Ministry Pastor - Worship

Dave oversees Worship, Prayer, Students and Young Adults.

Ben Hyett

Senior Ministry Pastor - Newcomers Integration and Evangelism

Ben oversees Newcomers, Evangelism, Small Groups, Pastoral Care and Leadership Development.

Becka Stewart

Becka oversees Trent Compassion, Trent Seniors, Rooted and Church Events among others.

Jo Gresty

Senior Ministry Pastor - Small Groups, Pastoral Care

Jo oversees our Small Groups Team, Special Interest Groups and provides support through pastoral care.

Ministry Pastor - Alpha, Marriage and Family Pastoral Care

Nicola oversees our Alpha courses, women’s events, marriage and family pastoral care.

Hannah Buck

Senior Ministry Pastor - Compassion

Hannah has oversight of Trent Compassion, which has a large staff and volunteer team and has a range of ministries to bless the city.

Matt oversees media, production, communication and events.

Ollie oversees our Youth ministry and has oversight over those involved in students and young adults.

Dave oversees various compassion ministries including the Soup Run, Employability, Housing and our Prisons ministry

Making things happen

There's a large team of staff and volunteers who help us bless the community generously, run projects, events and courses as well as support the normal day-to-day running of the church.

Clive Sillito

Chair of Trustees

Clive has been a member of Trent Vineyard since 2004. He is a self-employed business consultant focusing on strategic planning and organisational change. He is also a Trustee of Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland.

Paul Tomkins

Trustee

Paul has been a member of Trent Vineyard since 2002. He is a solicitor specialising in property disputes and is a Partner at Freeths LLP.

Sam Dunlop

Trustee

Sam has been a member of Trent Vineyard since 2011. He works as a Financial Systems Manager for a leading infection prevention company, implementing and supporting finance systems across the global business.

Michael Yanney

Trustee

Michael has been a member of Trent Vineyard since 2002. He works as a Consultant Paediatrician at Sherwood Forest Hospitals Foundation Trust.

Jessica Woodliffe

Trustee

Jess has been a member of Trent Vineyard since 2018. She works as a self-employed barrister at Ropewalk Chambers.

John and Debby Wright

Founding Pastors

John and Debby planted Trent Vineyard in 1996 and handed the leadership on in 2023. They now serve as the National Directors for Vineyard Churches in the UK and Ireland.
