Music moves people, music helps people to connect with their feelings and emotions.

Here at Trent Vineyard, however, we want our worship to be more than music. Our aim is to use the music as a vehicle to draw people close to God. We want our worship to be relevant and contemporary, but not to lose sight of the vineyard worship's core value, intimacy with the Father.

Both the morning and evening services have 25-30 minutes of worship, led by one of several bands. Our small groups also prioritise worship in a smaller, more intimate setting.

Inside Out

Worship is an important priority here at Trent whether in small groups or in the main meetings. Everyone involved is valued for their contribution and their willingness to follow God's call.

Over the past couple of years, we have been taking time to facilitate evenings where worship leaders can gather together to learn, pray for each other and discuss various aspects of worship. This year we want to build on what we have done before and widen opportunities for anyone in small groups (not only musicians ) who are interested in worship to gather once a term, Worship together, pray for each other and hopefully be more inspired to live a life of passionate worship.

These events will then be followed by evenings of practical worship training including, The Worship Leaders Course, The Guitar Course and later in the year The Song Writers Course.

Closer Events

The church hosts Closer events that are aimed at encouraging small groups to come together for an evening of worship and prayer. These informal events provide an opportunity for reflection, meditation and creative communal prayer. They are valuable times that offer time and space for the church to wait on God together and respond to whatever He is saying.

Previous events around Easter time have focussed on the cross of Jesus, and allowing it to deeply impact people's hearts and lives.
