Our Come Holy Spirit conference is on Friday 21 - Saturday 22 March. We're excited to come together to spend time worshipping, listening to talks from our guest speakers, getting equipped and waiting on the presence of God. This conference is for the whole family and there’ll be sessions for both Kids and Youth on Saturday. Please note that 11-15s (Trent Youth) will need to be accompanied by an adult in the main sessions.

Main conference

Our main sessions will include worship, talks, prayer ministry and time together. We’re delighted that Steve Nicholson, Amy Hughes and Pete Hughes will be speaking at our main sessions. You can find out more about them here.

Kids & Youth

On Saturday, there will be a programme for families and children age 0-11s (school year 6). For more details and to sign up your children please go here.

Please note that 11-15s (Trent Youth) will need to be accompanied by an adult in the main sessions.

Ministry on the streets

On Saturday morning there will be training for anyone wanting to grow in sharing their faith in the power of the Holy Spirit. As part of the training, there'll be an opportunity to go into the city centre to have a go. For more details and to sign up please go here.

FAQs

Is the conference free?

- Yes the whole conference is free, however you do need to sign up. If you'd like dinner on the Saturday evening you need to purchase a dinner ticket.

Can I attend if I'm from another church?

- Yes this conference is open to everyone.

I have accessibility needs, can I come?

- Yes, if you have specific needs please get in touch via [email protected]

Who are the main sessions for?

- The main sessions are suitable for adults and young people, youth aged 11-15 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Do you have any kids provision during the main sessions?

- There is a kids programme running for the 0s-11s between 13:15-15:00 (during session 2) on the Saturday. Outside that there are also family sessions on Saturday morning and afternoon, but children will need to be accompanied by an adult during those times.

I've purchased a meal ticket, where do I go to eat?

- Dinner for those with a meal ticket will be served from Whitebird at 17:15 on the Saturday, which is Red Thai Curry + Dessert.

Will Whitebird be open for the whole conference?

- Whitebird will be open from 11:30-19:00 on Saturday 22 March.

I'd like to join the ministry on the streets stream, how do I sign up?

- You can sign up for ministry on the streets here. You need to be 18 years old or above to join in with the practical part of this training.

Will overnight accommodation for the conference be provided at Trent Vineyard?

- No, there is no overnight accommodation provided at Trent Vineyard. There are a number of hotels nearby that you may wish to explore using.

Steve Nicholson

Steve was a founding member of Evanston Vineyard, based in Chicago, USA. Since the church began, Evanston Vineyard has planted nine other congregations in the Chicago area and another 15 in other cities and countries.

Steve has ministered to and trained church leaders across the world, including India, Australia, Kenya, Turkey, Brazil, as well as the UK and Ireland.

Steve and his wife, Cindy, live in Chicago and they have three adult children and eight grandchildren.

Amy Hughes

Amy has been leading Trinity Church Nottingham for the last seven years alongside her husband, Jonny. She is a priest in the Church of England, but spends much of her time being a mum to her five young children. Amy, alongside her sister Rachel, has pioneered a national ministry to empower women called, ‘The Orchard’. Her life passion is leading people into the beautiful presence of Jesus where life is transformed and freedom released.

Pete Hughes

Along with his wife, Bee, Pete Hughes planted KXC in 2010, establishing a community with the simple vision to recklessly give themselves away to God, each other, and the people of King’s Cross and beyond. Pete is a highly-regarded figure in the UK church, who has written a book on joining God’s story of recreation, called ‘All Things New’.
