Updates to our data and privacy policy

The data law is changing...

Your data privacy and security is important to us. The data law changed 25 May 2018. So, we wanted you to know about changes to our data and privacy policy and understand the choices and control you have over the information we hold, and how best we can stay connected with you.

Our new data and privacy policy

Within our new data and privacy policy, we’ve provided more details about the information we collect and how we use it. The new data protection law also asks us to give you more control over how your data is used.

We’d encourage you to review our data and privacy policy. It’s available on our website as well as within My ChurchSuite.

Read our data and privacy policy

What does this mean for you?

You have more control over your data privacy and communication preferences.

Staying connected

The best way to stay connected is through My ChurchSuite. If you consider Trent to be your church, you should hopefully already be set up with an account. If you're giving us your details for the first time, see further below this page

Check your details

We need you to check your personal details, privacy settings and communications preferences on how you’d like us to communicate with you.

Once you’re happy with your settings, we’ll need you to give consent for us to stay connected with you and keep you up to date with events and news.

Why we need your consent?

It’ll mean that we can let you know about key events throughout the year such as Easter and Christmas events, baptism services, Alpha and other church related activities like Thy Kingdom Come.

How to stay connected with us

We sent you an email with information of how you can check your personal details, privacy settings and communication preferences by submitting a form to us. This allows you to give consent for us to stay connected with you, keeping you up to date with events and other church related communications.

If you no longer want to receive communication from us, you can click ‘forget me’ – which is your right to ask us to remove your details from our database.

We also sent out a text message with a link to the form, if you’d rather complete it this way.

If you haven't received an email or text please contact [email protected] to let us know.

Kids and Youth

Kids and youth

If you have kids, we sent you an email for each child so you can check their details, privacy settings and communication preferences too.

My ChurchSuite

If you consider Trent Vineyard to be your church and you haven’t already joined My ChurchSuite, visit the connect area on Sundays.

ChurchSuite is the online church management system we use to keep your contact information organised. It has a member-facing system called "My ChurchSuite". It’s a great way to keep on top of your personal details and involvement in Trent Vineyard from events to groups and rotas you serve on.
