Trent Vineyard Internship

If you are aged 21-35 you're invited to consider joining our Trent Vineyard Internship year!

We would love to invite you to consider joining our Trent Vineyard Internship year. The year runs from September 2026 until July 2027 and is an opportunity to pour into the church and be poured into by the church; to invest in your relationship with God; to work alongside and learn from experienced leaders; to use the gifting and passion you have to bless the church and extend God's Kingdom.

This is a year to grow and it's also a year to see things grow. A year to partner with what God is doing here at Trent, to experience being part of a large and passionate staff team, to be pushed out of your comfort zone and championed, to be challenged and encouraged. A year to be simultaneously tired and inspired, as you give your best and see God do amazing things. It's a year to see and be involved in both the detail and the wonder of church.

We would love you to consider applying for one of the spaces.

You can find out more by filling in the box below. We'll send you some more information along with an application form.

The deadline for applications is Mon 06 July 2026 and interviews will take place w/c Mon 13 July 2026.

I'm Interested!

What is the Trent Vineyard Internship Year?

The year is based around a minimum of one day a week + Sundays (term time only) during which you will be working in a team within a particular ministry area of your choosing. This tailoring of the year towards your passions, skills and sense of calling will help ensure that you are learning, being challenged and growing in the very things and areas that are important to you. Your chosen area of ministry, if successful in your application, will be your primary base for the year.

In addition to this there will be a termly rhythm of theological training (requiring both personal study and also shared reflections with the wider cohort of interns), a mentoring scheme to reflect on the work that God is doing in you, and the opportunity to engage in some larger church events or conferences with the whole staff team.

There is an intentional and continuous movement back a forth, from the specific and narrow, to the general and broad; a zooming in on the area you feel called to and a zooming out to the wider church. Both elements provide an important insight into church leadership and will be a key part of the year.

Our hope and expectation is that this would be a year in which you grow...

- In your relationship with God.

- In your leadership skills.

- In your passions and sense of purpose.

- In your understanding and experience of ministry.

- In your relationships within the team.

- In your understanding of yourself and who God has made you to be.

But it is also our hope and expectation that this would be a year in which you see things grow; the things that you have been leading, the places and people you have been serving, the things that you have put your time and energy into.

Our hope is that as you pour yourself into the church, as you pour yourself out for His kingdom, that God would use your five fish and two loaves to do more than you expect.
